Our Story

Since 1982, we have been serving Salt Lake City the tastiest and freshest Greek cuisine – fast!

Bob Daskalakis

Bob Daskalakis opened Greek City Grill in 2009 as the newest chapter in a 30-year legacy of award-winning restaurants. Bob’s parents, Mary and Gus, opened Dask’s Greek to Me in December 1982 in the Richard’s Street Food Court at Crossroads Mall in Salt Lake City, Utah. It quickly became renowned as the most original food menu at Crossroads Mall. Bob took over the family-run business in 1990, and in 2000, he changed the name to Greek Town Grill. The “Grill” became the longest-running tenant of the food court at Crossroads until the mall closed down in 2005. At the time, Greek Town Grill left behind a legacy of great food, fond memories and many loyal customers.

With Greek City Grill, we have continued to improve upon our family recipes that have become favorites over the years and added new menu items, such as the award-winning D-Will, that have made Greek City Grill the choice for fast-food cuisine in Salt Lake City. With drive-thru, take-out and sit down service, we offer the ultimate convenience both for those on the go and those who prefer to sit down to enjoy our award winning Gyros, Feta Burgers and Greek City Favorites. In 2011, we expanded our store, adding additional seating space.
